| John Carden |
| John Carden of Point Clear, AL, is the retired Vice-Chair of Ernst & Young, LLP, having served with the firm for more than 30 years. His consulting experience covers strategic planning, turnaround assistance, inventory valuation and quality management issues. Carden joined SCORE in 1997 and has served as both chapter vice-chair and chair. Currently, he is the chairman of Point Clear Investments, Inc., a board director for Turner Supply Company, and owner of four Toledo, Ohio, area retail establishments. |

| Marge E. Christiansen |
Secretary
Marge E. Christiansen of Maplewood, MN, has spent much of her career in the wholesale and retail arena. She and her husband owned a wholesale gift firm for 25 years. Christiansen has been a SCORE volunteer for 16 years serving in a number of capacities, including chapter chair and district director. She has been honored as an SBA women in business advocate in 2000. |

| Jim Frommel |
| Jim Frommel, of Memphis, TN, is a financial management professional. His career in the broadcasting industry spanned more than 30 years at WMC TV, AM & FM in Memphis, where he served as controller and business manager for the station and its 250 member staff. In 1990, Frommel received his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He currently works with the firm Cremerius Rice Financial Advisors in Memphis. During his tenure with SCORE, Frommel served as chapter chair, then assistant district director, at the SCORE offices in Memphis. |

| Roslyn Goldmacher |
| Roslyn Goldmacher, of Westbury, NY, serves as an independent director. Goldmacher is a founder and president/CEO of the Long Island Development Corporation and the Long Island Small Business Assistance Corporation. Her company is certified by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to make loans to qualified small businesses for capital expansions. Goldmacher is an attorney and licensed real estate broker. She has been honored as an SBA financial services advocate and SBA women in business advocate. |

| Bernard Harris |
| Dr. Bernard Harris of Houston, TX, is currently president and CEO of Vesalius Ventures, Inc., a venture capital accelerator that invests in early-stage companies in medical information technology. Prior to this position, Dr. Harris served at NASA, where he conducted medical research on adapting to space travel. He is a veteran astronaut, logging nearly 440 hours and traveling more than 7 million miles in space. Dr. Harris has also served as vice president and chief scientist of SPACEHAB, Inc., and vice president of business development for Space Media, Inc., establishing an eCommerce initiative. He has received two NASA Space Flight Medals and was the recipient of the 2000 Horatio Alger Award. |

| Gerald R. Jensen |
Vice Chair
Gerald R. Jensen, of Los Altos, CA, joined the San Jose SCORE Chapter in 1995 and continues to counsel clients. Jensen has served as a SCORE district director and chapter chair. He began his career while serving in the U.S. Air Force as a computer programmer and systems analyst. Jensen has worked in computer and marketing fields for companies such as RCA Instructional Systems, Bechtel Group and Techpoint. He has also been a consultant and small business owner. |

| Barbara Kasoff |
Barbara Kasoff, of San Francisco, CA, is a former owner of several companies, including Voice-Tel of Michigan, a voice communications company, and Voice Response Corp., a teleservice and database marketing company. She is also the co-founder of two advocacy groups, Grass Roots Impact and Women Impacting Public Policy, which work to further the interests of small business owners. Kasoff has served as a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business and as vice president of public policy for the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO).

Douglas Kindred, of Hope, ID, has provided leadership to SCORE at all levels of the organization. He is a champion of small businesses throughout Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington. Kindred is a retired small business owner who previously worked as CFO and CEO for a subsidiary of Transamerica Corporation. |

Board Chair
Paul Kopelcheck, of Hilton Head Island, SC, is an active SCORE volunteer who previously served as the district director of South Carolina. Kopelcheck founded and was the president and CEO of Acordia Personal Benefits, a national life and employee benefits and insurance corporation. Prior to this, he was the executive vice president of the Columbian Financial Group and the vice president of marketing and administration for the Hartford Insurance Group. |

| Barbara J. Lippard |
| Barbara J. Lippard of Berkeley, CA, retired after serving as investment manager of Time, Inc.’s Venture Capital Group. She also served as Vice President, Director of Corporate Development, for Selling Areas-Marketing Inc. (SAMI), a division of Time, Inc. During her career, Lippard provided consulting services to small- and medium-sized businesses for planning, funding and financial management. She joined SCORE in 1997, first in Hilton Head, SC, where she served as chapter chair. After moving to California, Lippard continued as an active mentor and leader at East Bay SCORE in Oakland and most recently served as district director, overseeing SCORE offices in the San Francisco area. |

| Philip Malcolm III |
| Philip Malcolm III of Bentonville, AR, is currently vice president of membership for Sam’s Club, the nation’s largest warehouse chain serving small business owners and entrepreneurs. He joined Sam’s Club in 2001 as a brand marketing manager and was quickly promoted to senior director and then vice president of marketing. Prior to joining Sam’s Club, Malcolm worked for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Inc. in Orlando, Florida, as brand manager for Downtown Disney West Side, Pleasure Island and Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. |

| J. Michael Mendez of Santa Fe, NM, retired after a 33-year career with Southern California Edison Company (SCE). During his 10 years as a corporate officer, Mendez held the positions of Vice President of Human Resources, Labor Relations and Regional Leadership. At the time of his retirement, he was the Vice President of Human Resources and Labor Relations. After moving to Santa Fe, Mendez joined SCORE. In addition to his community service activities, he is a consultant on human resources and labor relations issues. |

| Diane Roehrig |
| Diane Roehrig, of Homewood, AL, is currently the president and executive director for the Alabama Community Development Corporation, a nonprofit organization licensed by the SBA to provide the 504 Loan Program to areas in the Southeast United States. Her business experience spans more than 40 years in financial services and community development. Roehrig has served as an officer of the National Association of Development Companies, as well as on other national and local boards. In 2004, she was honored by the SBA as the Top 504 Lender in Alabama, and by Birmingham Magazine as the Top CEO 2004. |

| Mel Spiegelman of Morrisville, NC, is an experienced corporate sales manager. During his professional career, he held management positions at Dow Chemical. Prior to his retirement from Dow Chemical in 1986, Spiegelman was named general sales manager for the southern states. Before joining that company, he served as a naval officer and worked for six years in a retail hardware business with his father. |

| Robert St. Angelo of Barnegat, NJ retired after a 39-year career with Merrill Lynch, one of the world’s leading financial management and advisory companies, where he held a variety of positions including, at the time of his retirement, senior regional sales and marketing representative of the Global Services division. Early in his career, Robert served in the U.S. Air Force as manager of aircraft supplies for the Aircraft Repair Depot at Burtonwood in the United Kingdom. An active volunteer, St. Angelo joined SCORE in 1995 and recently served as district director, overseeing all SCORE offices in New Jersey. |

| Marilyn Tam of Santa Barbara, CA, boasts an extensive business career that includes prominent executive roles at several world-renowned corporations, such as CEO of Aveda, president of Reebok Apparel and Retail Group, and vice president of Nike. In 1994, Tam was awarded The Reebok Human Rights Award for her humanitarian work. She is the founder and executive director of the Us Foundation, whose mission is to support global action plans and dialogue to address social, economic and environmental issues. |

| Fred Tinker |
| Fred Tinker, of Los Altos, CA, has provided more than 20 years of business and financial leadership in the computer technology industry. He served at Intuit for the past 10 years, most recently as the director of corporate alliances. Previously, he had held several financial positions, including director of international finance, director of financial planning and analysis, and chief financial officer of VFSC, an internal start-up at Intuit. Before joining Intuit, Tinker spent 12 years at Apple Computer in various financial management roles. Prior to that, he served as vice president of finance at Claris, the software subsidiary of Apple Computer. |

| Joe Wollenberger, of Charleston, WV, has served as a SCORE volunteer for over 10 years and has held numerous leadership positions within the organization. He retired from the Monsanto Company, where he was assistant general counsel in charge of labor law and equal employment. |
