How the funds are used
Some of the ways The SCORE Foundation and SCORE Association were able to put your philanthropic support to work in fiscal year 2005-2006 (partial list):
- $206,000 in special project funding
- $84,000 for specific corporate sponsorships of SCORE Leadership Conferences (District Director’s/Chapter ChairsConference)
- $30,000 in Non-Profit Workshop and Business Planning Tool Resources
- $11,000 in Chapter-mini Grants
- $ 7,000 in SCORE Chapter Disaster Recovery Grants (Hurricance Katrina and Wilma)
- $ 9,800 in restricted gifts to chapters& districts
- $ 2,200 in program resources/projects at the SCORE national level
- $300,000+ in in-kind software from Intuit and Microsoft for volunteers and chapters
