SCORE Public/Private Broadband Consortium

SCORE launches the first-ever public/private partnership to encourage broadband adoption by U.S. small businesses. The consortium formed in response to The Broadband Plan released by the FCC. It officially launched on April 7 at the kick-off event. The effort focuses on leveling the playing field for business success. Fortune 500 companies and leading technology firms join this consortium to provide training, tools and resources to small businesses. Consortium founders include AT&T, Best Buy, Cisco, Constant Contact, Google, HP, Intuit, Microsoft, Skype and Time Warner Cable Business Class. Small business partners are DRT Strategies and Engage Inc.

Deluxe Corporation Foundation Donates Funding to SCORE to Boost Small Business and Job Creation

SCORE “Counselors to America’s Small Business,” The SCORE Foundation and the Deluxe Corporation Foundation announce the development of a new program, the Deluxe/SCORE Counseling Methodology. The Deluxe Corporation Foundation will underwrite funding for the creation and implementation of this initiative. The Deluxe Corporation Foundation presented a check for $490,000 at the SCORE National Leadership Conference in Salt Lake City on August 19, 2009. Read more
